Did you know that overseas voters can – and often do – determine the margin of victory in close races? As we get closer to November, Democrats Abroad UK needs to reach fellow Americans to register, vote, and participate in the 2018 midterms one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime. This is the time to jump on the Democratic Blue Wave and you can here in London!
Why is this movement so important? We all know that Trump’s administration is something to keep a big eye on and also help those that truly care about creating policies that work for the people and not for selfish interests win seats in Congress and the House of Representatives.
This is why the DAUK Policy Network & Resolutions group has organized a Blue Wave Bootcamp to train and empower all of us that want to make a difference and stand up for a better USA.
So come Saturday, September 15th, at David Game College in Tower Hill starting at 9:00am for a full day of learning and networking activities, and afterwards you can join the DAUK Phone banking campaign only 20 minutes away and also nearby transport links!
Topics include:
Are all welcome (first time Democratic and progressive activists as well as seasoned veterans). No experience is needed, just the will and the passion to fight for our dearly held democracy and to make a change for the better.
Bag lunch (veg and non-veg) is available for pre-purchase along with a ticket. This is the time to ride the Blue Wave, get your tickets here!
