Chair Lan Wu is an associate director at a financial technology firm in London, running implementation teams specializing in financial risk and compliance, professional services, and trade order management. She has a BS from Columbia University in Operations Research, with minors in Economics and Chinese Politics. She is a member of Women in Banking and Finance, a Toastmaster, a not-very-fast runner, and a lover of all foods. Lan previously served as secretary of the Women’s Caucus.
Vice Chair Kate Van Dermark is a former worker’s rights advocate in healthcare, emergency manager in aviation, and community organizer in social justice. She raises two feminists under two by day, and co-chairs DAUK Women’s Caucus by night. She’s passionate about cross-cultural communication, privilege, and intersectionality, and has engaged in political activism since her first protest at nine years old. She knows “well-behaved women rarely make history” and advocates “misbehaving” as often as possible.
Secretary Shana Beth Mason received her BA in Literature from Florida State University and her MA in the History of Art & Connoisseurship from Christie’s Education London (University of Glasgow). She works at the Imperial War Museum in London, and serves as an honorary “protector” of one of the seventeen historic districts in the city of Siena, Italy. She is currently working on her first book, focused on the histories of the women in the James Bond films and novels.
Treasurer Yuliana Kletsun is a Ukrainian-American attorney from New York City. Lover of nature hikes, a good cross country train ride, political banter, varenuku and all things filled with cheese.
