bJoining the Women’s March, held in London on January 19, was more than an exciting experience. It signified the coming together of diverse voices seeking the same progress and I count myself fortunate to be a part of this movement.

What a way to kick off the year we’ve all been waiting for! Last night, more than 120 Americans living in the UK showed up to request their ballots and commit to getting out the expat vote in 2020. What an inspiration it was to be surrounded by so many fellow Americans who are determined to make a difference. Grab a pen, grab a pie and make a difference as we gather for our first Postcards & Pizza social of 2020! Last year, we sent hundreds of postcards last year to help Dems take control of the state legislature in Virginia, which is poised to become the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Now, our fight to sign the ERA into law continues as we call on Congress to extend the deadline for passing it. Postcards and pens will be provided, so just come prepared to write, eat and have fun!
